BSWAGG vision for men includes studying the Word of God, evangelism, prayer and fasting, feeding and clothing the community, prayer cleansing and counseling using the back to the wound experience to unfold each traumatic incident in their lives. Peeling back the layers of traumatic memories; while also ministering to the family unit as a whole. The vision begins long before careers, education, or even leadership. It begins with the soul. The Pool of Siloam Reach-Out Ministries exists to snatch souls out of the fire by introducing people to Jesus Christ through repentance, salvation, healing, deliverance, discipleship, and compassionate outreach. Within that mission, BSWAGG becomes the ministry's focused investment in young men.
We believe that many boys are not inherently rebellious—they are misguided, wounded, overlooked, fatherless, traumatized, rejected, and searching for identity. Society often labels them before anyone loves them. Your vision refuses to accept that label.
We see every young man as someone created by God with a divine purpose. The ministry's calling is to reach these young men before the streets define them, before gangs recruit them, before addiction claims them, before prison shapes them, and before hopelessness convinces them that they are worth nothing. The Pool of Siloam offers something different. It offers a place where truth replaces deception, where biblical discipleship replaces confusion, where accountability replaces chaos, where servant leadership replaces selfish ambition, and where Christ becomes the model of authentic manhood.
In our vision, becoming a man is never measured by age, physical strength, or financial success. A man is one who: Walks with God. Lives by biblical truth. Accepts responsibility. Protects others. Serves his community. Leads his family. Demonstrates integrity when no one is watching. Uses his gifts to glorify God rather than himself. It is not an isolated youth program; it is one expression of the ministry's larger calling to restore what the enemy has attempted to destroy.
